Our Story

We’ve always been curious about what helps people thrive at work and what gets in the way. Work is an important part of who we are and it also consumes a large portion of our lives – in fact approximately 30% of our lives are at work. And while work can bring purpose and connection, it can also be one of the biggest sources of stress, uncertainty, and self-doubt. Not to mention a huge influence on our overall mental health.

Over the years, we’ve spoken with so many people who were feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unfulfilled in their careers. Some were teetering on the edge of burnout. Others were questioning whether they were on the right path. Most weren’t in crisis, but they weren’t doing great either.

Some wanted support with the emotional toll of work. Others were hungry for change, but unsure where to begin. The common question we kept hearing was:

“Do I need a coach? A psychologist? Or something else entirely?”

That in-between space is where Coachling was born. If you haven’t guessed it already, Coachling is what happens when you bring coaching and counselling together. One supports momentum, growth, and action, the other supports emotional insight, resilience, and emotional wellbeing. Together, they help people build clarity, capability, and confidence, especially when work feels heavy or uncertain.
